Don´t mess with my choice of using Missing e or XKIT!!
Tumblr is planning to update their TOS (Terms of Service) which we all have to sign in order to use Tumblr, and they want us to stop using Missing e, XKIT or other plug ins that gives us all the functions we love (timestamps, Post your Crushes, un-follow-checker)
I´ve just emailed them to let them know i don´t want to give up these functions, i hope you´ll email them, too! Don´t let them bulldoze right over our choices!
Send an e-mail to policy@tumblr.com and tell them to change their updated Terms of Service before making it official! Tell them that you like using XKit, Missing E or any other extensions you have, and won’t stop using them. Inform them that they have no right over what you can and can not install on your own browser.
Here’s an idea, Tumblr.
If you don’t want people to use Missing-E, maybe you could add the features to your website that Missing-E provides, rather than send messages threatening to take away a support system that has never provided very much support. Maybe you could improve that system before threatening to take it away, so that such a threat actually like, carried some weight. Doesn’t that sound like a better use of your time?
